I imagine Chinese media is full of "See? The Americans are doing the same stuff we did to the students in Hong Kong, so obviously our treatment of the Hong Kong protestors was reasonable."
Well, they're probably just showing a bunch of pictures and videos and letting people make the connection themselves without acknowledging there even were protests in Hong Kong.
