I like this, the idea that we are deserving of abundance. Especially by the means of hard work and planning for the future.

I've come across people like me recently, grew up poor, uneducated parents, single parent households but somehow they are in a way ashamed of their abundance in adult life because they feel 'privileged' in some way.

I couldn't really convince them they worked hard to earn their standard of living as an adult. Somehow they have been convinced instead of being proud of what they have earned that they should be ashamed of it.
