I think this is all about control, and a side effect of the growth of government.
They have a bunch of busybodies that need to feel they are doing something useful.
The end result is absurd actions.
As an outsider to Norwegian politics, it was pretty confusing this new concept of green certificates.
Why are they needed, when they weren't needed before?
And totally absurd, when the great majority of electricity in Norway is hydroelectric.
