She was supposed to be a Black Plymouth Rock, but to be honest I don't think anyone really knows. She was bought from a local poultry supplier who seemed to be less than careful with their breeding.

She's close to 10 years old now, though, so she's got some good genes from somewhere.

She's only laid 4 eggs in the past year, but at her age it's amazing she's even laid those!
