One of my transactions took 2 weeks and I thought it was too long. It took 2 weeks because I set the fee the lowest possible. Still a bit high in my eyes.
After that, I decided to do a test. I sent a transaction of a big amount. I think it was 1k usd or more. I modified the fee to about 0.10 cents usd and it took 2 months.
Anything more then 0.80 cents USD is too much. Especially for low amounts. I'll do it again if I need to. Just got to think 2 months ahead.
I'm not paying ridiculous fees to miners. They borrow fiat money to fund their ridiculous mining farms. Don't give them money unless you really to.
