"content": "Unless I'm misreading these sources... The news article as well as Wikipedia and its source paper say Gliese 12B is not a giant. It's estimated to be near the mass/size of Earth or Venus, within a relatively wide initial margin of error. Its existence was published in May. So there hasn't been time to determine what kind of atmosphere if any that it has. That's the interesting follow-on we want to look at.
