That is, the "run your own DCs" example is typically contrasted with let someone else run your DCs for you. So the tradeoff is not about getting 25x cost savings vs no cost savings. The tradeoff is about 25x cost savings vs keep paying for a 3rd party to realize some cost savings for you. Since provider will be focusing on cost savings and passing some of that onto you (price reductions).
