Something just seemed to be broken with the Classic Editor plugin for Wordpress and so I disabled it and tried using the now default block editor.

WTF is that?!

I have not even the slightest idea how any of that is an interface to write a post. How do you even add or edit images?

Since this is enabled by default and you have to install a plugin for the classic editor, this nightmare is probably a huge barrier to entry.

Installing Classic Editor seems like a mandatory first step.
