Because there's basically a shitcoin olympics centered around Bitcoin... BUT they have a Nostr dev/hackerspace/hackathon going on with a prize pool of
Finding out if the prize is KYC... also curious to know if actual devs on Nostr are curious about this? Alot of purple pilling would also have to be done in the process and I fear you might be surrounded by ordinal types... But if the whole thing is online then it's not like you're going to be interacting with them I guess...
Actually, I think some twitter spaces type shit is involved so you would probably need an X account or to create a new one I guess too which sucks ass.

I personally feel that with nostr *not* being the center piece of the event, they're not realizing the importance of Nostr. These people need Nostr more than we need them. And I don't think Nostr really needs or even wants BTCOlympics but I'd honestly like to hear from everyone possible what they think. If awesome nostr devs got to share in a 50k prize pool... would that be a bad thing? 🤔
Same time it's probably dirty NFT money and also rewarded in fiat with shotgun kyc of somesort..
