Watching the first Daytona #NASCAR race under the lights in 1998. I would say I was celebrating the 4th of July in doing so, but this race was actually postponed for wildfires and ran in October I believe instead.
Love seeing a handful of "Zombie Thunderbirds", teams running '97 Thunderbirds instead of the '98 Ford Taurus because the T-birds were thought to have an aero advantage at Daytona and Talladega. Because of this, you still saw ARCA teams running em as last as the early 00s.
