Handled a baitcasting rod and reel for the first time today at Walmart. Holy crap I fell in love. Felt a lot nicer in the hand than all the spinning rods I've used since I was a kid. Definitely gonna have to switch over to them as much as I can, I hear they don't do well with very light baits and lures. Not ready to buy yet, maybe when I get my kayak.
