i was sexually assaulted last night while out at a bar. i was able to defuse the situation without resorting to physical violence, but i really don't like the fact that i would have been basically helpless if the situation escalated. i think this summer i'm going to spend time learning how to fight, so the next time this happens (because it will happen again, it's only a matter of when and where) i can protect myself however the situation demands it. wish me luck, i guess.
