So okay, seeing a lot of #Bluesky v. Masto traffic and for at least some ppl, there seems to be a like... fundamental misunderstanding of what Masto was meant to be.

#Mastodon isn't meant to be the Next Big Thing. It isn't a product in need of investors or purchase by Mega Social Media Corp. It isn't waiting to be profitable.

And it prob isn't going anywhere.

Could it use improvement? Yeah. Does it need to reinvent Twitter? Fuck nooooo. Let's let that die.
