On one hand, I think I understand what you mean. But often, I like the 10 minute format, especially if I only _have_ 10 minutes. (Of course, if six of those minutes are intro, outro, "subscribe!" call to actions and rambling, that's bad.)
But there are some long and interesting videos. They're somewhat off the mainstream though.
Also, I'm trying to get into audiobooks …
