I am still :ablobcatsweatsip: ing (nprofile…5dmj) idk anymore, man (nprofile…k0gl) Making your own bread is super easy, tastes better than most store bought breads, and is often even cheaper.
Water, flour, yeast and salt are the only ingredients you need to make good bread, sugar is completely unnecessary unless you want sweet bread. It can make the bread rise quicker if you add a small amount, but bread's flavour comes from fermentation of the yeast, so if you want it to be extra tasty you let it ferment for a day.
If you just want some basic bitch bread and can't be bothered to wait for it to ferment, the difference in waiting times from adding sugar will hardly make any difference. If you must cheat a quick rise, add a tiny pinch ascorbic acid (vitamin c) instead, it'll do that far better than sugar.
