I agree though several apps are already supporting these events. Amethyst, Nostur, NoStrudel and, since recently, Fountain as well.
As for Primal, yes would be great but they have other priorities plus they still use note1 instead of naddr so I don't expect to see much from there unless it's something they can monetarise on. Also, if they were to launch a streaming service in the next weeks I'd call bullshit after everything happening to Kieran's projects.
