New to my collection: A Linotype Model 14 nameplate with serial number 22570, circa 1911 judging by the patent additions on the plate.
I have several of these and they are beautiful pieces of brass—with a tinge of sadness—since they represent machines that were likely scrapped many years ago.
I particularly like the two additional patent dates that barely fit in the blank spaces and were added without much care!
