In Fedilab → Settings → Compose, what does 'Write Formula' mean?

Also, I'm sure it was once possible to hide which app you were writing a post from - does anyone know where I can find that again? Was it in the web version of Mastodon, or a Fediverse app, or a different Fediverse software that I'm misremembering?
