You can judge the quality of any fictional utopia by how it treats the children, the disabled, and those who don't want to fit in it. Most just pretend they don't exist, like Star Trek. The more honest ones hint at some ways of eliminating them. There are some ambitious ones that tolerate them. The best ones make them integral to the whole thing.
