In Sweden I would call it "jordnära".
Down to ground, realistic. Someone who is not faliling around. Rather conservative in a good way. Someone who is not easily fooled with all the latest trends.
I have just been saying Based for so long time that I just want to say based. But that is hardly an explanation.
Based can also be very cool and totally unaffected by propaganda.
