I've encoded most of my memories into objects, various forms of media, and experiences apparently.
It explains a lot of the constant anxiety. If I spill something on a carpet or the couch, I remember how much my mom would freak out when anyone spilled anything (not even in an angry way...she just at that time herself felt like everything was an emergency, so even though it wasn't intended to make me feel bad, a parent panicking about a mundane thing is stressful).
