being a member of Bourbaki meant a lot of unrecognised (in history) important work, since it is hard to know who did what. That said, I have a vague recollection he said once at a dinner I was at that a lot of it was done before he joined but I may be confusing him with someone else, so don't take this as fact unless you read it elsewhere.

I believe he had even more important contributions in algebra and algebraic groups but I know little from outside algebraic geometry.
