So if I understand correctly, on Linux you can disable the sandboxing feature that Godot solely relies on to open native file dialogs, and if so, it just fails without fallback?
Why and why?
Or rather than fallback, X11/Wayland backends could actually implement some checks for the FEATURE_NATIVE_DIALOG_FILE feature flag...
Also, according to quick searching, some XDG backends don't support the file chooser portal at all, so it'll fail there without recourse too.
