Back in the early 70s, Series Es were cheap... $50-100 each. My brother kept buying them for parts so we had a shed filled with any part you needed. New motor? Just take one of those.
One Morrie 8 was end-of-life so we wrecked it with humour. We drove it to the Aramoana tip where there were always people scavenging, drove it up the biggest pile of rubbish we could find and parked it at the very top. Then my bro & I got out, threw both of the front seats away and walked off.
