Chess people, any suggestions on what opening to transition into if one starts with a c4 English Opening 'Botvinnik' but find Black is going for the caro-kann (or similar)?
I've read/learnt that the Botvinnik is definitely (definitely! 😱🤣) not effective against caro-kann but that's as far as I've got. Any and all suggestions n boosts welcome.
