today i learned that you can probably manage to drive a boat all the way up to south dakota in USA... not bad... after that i guess i sell my ship and get an RV haha
rivers in europe are more extensive in their reach... you can literally go from gibraltar up through greece into the black sea and then either dnieper or danube and via the danube all the way to koeln or so, and that takes in a lot of cities... veliko tarnovo, ruse, vidin, novi sad, belgrade, budapest, ulm... i have traveled along much of that path on land before, it's one of the most awesome rivers in the world IMO, the dunav, danube, donau, wherever you are what the name is
