For people like me, there’s no “Happy Memorial Day!” and I despise crap like “Big Memorial Day sale!” So many people seem to have forgotten over time why it is this three day weekend (I also despise this one being referred to as a “holiday”) was established by Congress decades ago. People can certainly do their thing this weekend. All I’ve ever asked is they take a moment to remember my oldest son Ryan and so many lost while in the service.
