A local independent clothes shop here was decrying a lack of custom, but the photos of their stock suggested that their target audience was OAPs looking to dress for a vaguely formal occasion.
Perhaps the problem isn't that "people just want to shop online" but "we don't sell stuff that enough local people want to be viable as a business".
