Switching to #KDE from #Gnome on fedora was hassle free except for gnome-keyring.
Apps which depended upon the gnome-keyring lost access to their secrets and so it failed to launch. I started the gnome-keyring services, launched the binary and passed in the gnome-keyring as launch param to the apps which supported it.
This worked out till gnome-keyring suddenly got corrupted and didn't unlock any of the keys; Apparently this is not new - https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/keyring-password-changed-without-me-knowing/78160
