I think it's really weird how many places (I'm looking at you, healthcare!) want to shame me for not answering their calls or even for waiting a week or more to call back to schedule or otherwise deal with something.

Like, I do have a life and a job and caregiving responsibilities and an array of my own more immediately pressing issues (& ADHD, sigh) to deal with, right? You do realize that I don't get paid to talk to you on your schedule? Right?

I need--we all need--personal assistants! Argh
