Let's say someone lives for going after pleasure in the present moment & avoiding pain in the present moment

In the long run that will undermine their autonomy

For example if someone was trans disabled or trans abled or if they just enjoy cutting themselves

If someone wants to cut off their own legs

If you do not stop them they undermine their autonomy

But if you stop them you undermine their autonomy

Other example smoking, obesity, etc
