One of the things I love most about this video is how, after watching the worker collecting food we move into the nest and it's a little shocking how HUGE her mother, the queen is. The workers of this species aren't small for ants, they are on the larger side. The queens are among some of the largest ants in the world. (especially in length)
The worker is so elegant, like a sports car with alien eyes, designed for flexibility and efficiency. Her mother is the greater variation on that theme!
