Most creative teams (scriptwriters, musicians, comics etc) have a problem with people sending in unsolicited pitches, then claiming that the creative stole their idea.
The usual way is to return all unsolicited manuscripts unread. But I can see why a team would want to remove liability if someone sends in a feature request which layer gets implement.
