All religion is harmful because it promotes dogma over critical thinking, stifles scientific progress, and perpetuates ignorance by discouraging questioning and encouraging faith – belief without evidence. The comfort and community that religions provide can be found in secular ways without the accompanying drawbacks of religious doctrine. Overall, I believe the world would be better off without the influence of religion.
