Port wine is currently outside my budget. Even the cheap stuff. I haven't gone to the liquor store in several months.

But my liquor cabinet is not empty. I still have cheap red wine. I still have middle-grade vodka that I stocked up on when it was on sale for a plastic-bottle price. And for complex historical reasons, this house always has a stupid surplus of Concord grape juice on hand.

I may or may not have committed mixological atrocities in pursuit of a fortified sweet red wine beverage.
