I used to always feel bad or guilty about feeling and expressing joy when horrible things are happening in the world, but in recent years, I figure there's always been war and always will be, sickness, disease, etc. Technically, we're in the most peaceful era of human history, so hold onto the joyful and peaceful moments when you can. You know?
