I responded to a comment on this post https://infosec.pub/post/14652668 from this Mastodon handle and that reply does not propagate to infosec.pub. Rather, it *is* visible on the commenter's home server (lemmy.world) https://lemmy.world/comment/11055250.

So yeah, federation is a bit complex and part of the reason I'm sure why Lemmy (and other AP/Fediverse platforms) seem experimental and don't have more widespread/active adoption.
