He's right. The whole reason why this is a problem to begin with, is that these beliefs exist and are dominant within the institutions, and they are considered sacred; and they are officially unofficially enforced by law.
It's not like these companies are firing their workers just because. They *have* to, Civil Rights Act aside, the people within the company will be next on the chopping block if they refuse to fire her.
