Summer and I were too late for the sunset that wasn't anyway. It is getting dark so early now.
We looked over the Eel River Valley and hoped everyone had the time and resources to manage the flood. Summer hopes all the doggies are inside and warm.
Today has been mostly dry but the Eel River is very full and definitely over the banks.
The water you see in the photo isn't a lake and hopefully will look like green pastures again soon.
Today, I was feeling some happiness creeping up on me again. It is good to bake for friends and family and allow myself those moments of joy.
