It’s that middle red circle I can never convince anyone is true. It isn’t a savings account, it’s an expense to pay for a program right now.
If some of the normie boomers I talked to truly believed in saving, working hard, and a balanced government budget…
Then they would give up their SS. But they can’t, because many never truly saved enough. Although SS is worth less every year, they still receive redistributed wealth.
I’ve noticed that when people have extra time and money, you don’t really need these programs. People can afford to help those around them. In exchange they receive the good chemicals in the brain.
Somehow humans grew before money. We still have the natural capacity to cooperate with one another. I hope we get that chance again and soon.
