The social saftey net is completely dead for everyone who isn't old. And the boomers and gen x fucked everything up. In very broad terms with exceptions: They don't care about us. So why should we care about them?

I likewise feel for your situation. But it won't get better without a drastic shift in the way things are run. There are always going to be people not getting what they need if we don't have something big happen. But I want everyone to have enough. And that's impossible with the current status quo.

I don't have any hope for my future or the future of the next generations to come without a very major change in this country. Voting 3rd party is working towards it. But a revolution is probably going to happen soon. Its a long standing historical pattern where wealth inequality and desperation spark conflict.
