Firefox never fails to disappoint. Even chrome has this but firefox doesn't. I had to jump through hoops to add a "search in Google scholar" shortcut.
[ Also can I say that I like Chrome's scholar.google TAB <query here> more than something like !sg SPC <query here>? ]
