Call me cynical, but I think people not flying for their *one* yearly trip somewhere to reduce their carbon footprint — while jet-set billionaires fly all the time to attend opulent events — are really missing the point here. I don't think they've correctly identified the problem, and I don't think voting with one's wallet works. What's worse is that they're doing it at their own expense, making their lives less comfortable, for the sake of an abstract goal.
