I’ve gone a long time without human touch and I’ve barely noticed. In the last 7 months, 2 half hugs from my dad is the only human physical contact I’ve had.

Human affection has always been really overloading for me. People putting their arm around me has always made me cringe. And it takes my sensory system hours to recalibrate back to normal from how overloading it all is.

I prefer affection from cats over humans. Cats are very soothing.
