On ‘Warranted Superior’ hand saws, usually identified by having a button with that on it around an Eagle. As I understand so far, it was not a brand, but a kind of seal of quality used by a lot of saw makers for saws that were ‘second line’ (not deserving the brand button for some minor reason). This is distinct, apparently, from the Warren and Ted Superior (bros) saw company, from early 20th.
I’m prevented reading this in France. Anyone share insights:
