This is me! I got up at a bit after 5 AM for work for so many years that now waking up in the 5-5:30 range is just normal. On rare occasions I can go back to sleep, but then only until about 7, then I'm just awake. My wife, in contrast, would sleep for 12 hours or more if she could...but she's the one who wants to get up early to garden!
