I can't explain why because there hasn't been a new release for a while, but Xcode has gotten significantly worse for me in the last few weeks

Any time I try to refactor some code and temporarily have mismatched braces, missing variables, etc., it beachballs and freezes the whole window, and this happens multiple times a day now
