What people are after is not about being stuck on this endless cpaitalist treadmill like some hamster, but one that promotes equality, sustainability, and justice. Our labour should not merely line the pockets of the wealthy elite, but should contribute to solving the world's urgent issues—climate change, poverty, and inequality. Why should we wear ourselves thin while our planet is falling apart, communities are hurting, and the rich-poor divide just keeps getting worse? And this ain't about hating work. It's about standing up and saying our work's gotta mean something more than just making some greedy people in suits richer.
