Mostly I am perpetually mad about the platform's failures because its various deficiencies make it much harder to write desktop applications for it than any other major platform. For me, it's not even that the audience is small; based on polling, something like 40% of the people _I_ can reach are Linux users, which is a significant plurality. It's that supporting that 40% takes 5-7x the effort of supporting the 35% on macOS and 3-4x the effort of supporting those on Windows.
