My consulting/executive era ended in 2018 when I took early retirement - other than a brief foray to help stand up a business intelligence practice for a small consulting company (before COVID hit).
But today is the day I cleared my shelf...you can see I still loved the technical aspects of consulting, but also had to frequently find and nurture client relationships to keep entire teams of consultants going.
Now, I just focus on coaching high school tennis and being a year around tennis teaching pro. If it snows or gets below 45 degrees, then I take the day off and go work on my own game, lift, play pickleball, etc.
Oh, and spend 2-4 hours reading/listening about #bitcoin, history of money, #geopolitics, etc. I do hope to setup my own node before the end of the year...that will be at least one separate note.
And I'm preparing a bitcoin primer deck for educating clients on "why bitcoin". It will be a small paid offering since my time (and thousands of hours of learning) is still worth something, but my 2nd career offerings are more about giving back than having to fund retirement.
